STI Norland – STI Norland will carry out its first project in Japan, where 20 MW supply has been awarded

STI Norland completes the supply of solar trackers for a 400 MWp photovoltaic (PV) project in Sonora (Mexico)
STI Norland has recently been awarded its first project in Japan, which means for the company the entry into a market in which it has made a big bet and that for years is constantly growing.

This 20 MW project will be carried out in Mizusawa (City of Oshu) in Japan, where STI Norland will supply its STI-F5TM fixed structure. The works are scheduled to begin at the end of the first quarter of this year.

With this project, the company enters the Japanese photovoltaic market that, in recent years, has started a clear commitment to this type of energy for which several consultants foresee reaching 64 GW at the beginning of 2020.

With the entry into the Land of Rising Sun, STI Norland consolidates its strategic expansion in the Asian market and consolidates its leading position in the sector worldwide overcoming the 2.5 GWs supplied since 2001.
