GPTECH – GPTech and Ecom Energía announce new collaboration in Brazil

GPTech and Ecom, Brazil’s largest electricity distributor, announce their collaboration focused on launching electricity distribution solutions for the Brazilian market.

According to Paulo Toledo, Managing Partner of ECOM Energy, “this collaboration agreement is a great opportunity to unite ECOM’s knowledge as electricity managers with GPTech’s expertise as a leading company in the renewable energy market. This will allow us to operate in this market whose demand is constantly growing. We want to be an energy company in the broadest sense of the word, and this partnership is essential to that.”

GPTech bets on the removable market in Brazil, and announces the start of its activity in its new Brazilian subsidiary in Rio de Janeiro. “We are very happy, and we believe it is the best time to invest in renewable energy in Brazil,” says Javier Landero, CEO of the company. GPTech will manufacture three product lines in the renewable energy sector: solar inverters, control systems for distributed generation and control systems for wind and photovoltaic plants. Its first production line is already in operation in Schroeder, Santa Catarina.

“In five years we expect to have achieved annual profits of approximately R$250 million, which would cover the company’s business line. This will contribute to the creation of approximately 200 jobs in the country,” says Landero.
