Acciona supports Banco de Santander with a wind energy complex in Oaxaca

It compensates 145,000 tons of CO2 through Certificates of Reduced Emissions (CER) endorsed by the UN through the electronic platform ClimateTrade.

ACCIONA has signed an agreement with Banco Santander through the electronic platform ClimateTrade to offset 145,000 tons of CO2 through the transfer of Reduced Emissions Certificates (CER) from the Oaxacas wind farm in Mexico. With this transaction, ACCIONA supports Banco Santander's carbon neutrality objective in 2020 by offsetting approximately half of the financial entity's emissions.
