ACCIONA – ACCIONA starts building two new photovoltaic plants in Ukraine under its ownership with a €30.6 million investment

ACCIONA has signed an agreement with UDP Renewables (UDPR) to build two photovoltaic plants in the region of Odessa (south-western Ukraine) with an overall capacity of 43.7 megawatts peak (MWp) – 33.3 MW rated capacity – and an estimated total investment of 30.6 million euros. According to the terms of the agreement, ACCIONA acquires 75% of the projects developed by the Ukranian company UDPR. Construction works will start this week, with the aim of the plants being installed before the end of this year.

Through this operation, ACCIONA strengthens its position in the renewables sector in Ukraine, where it has completed the 57.2 MWp (44 MW rated power) Dymerka 2-3-4 photovoltaic complex in the region of Kiev. This complex is 100% owned by ACCIONA.
