In Arequipa, through a contract with the Peruvian Government, two new solar power plants will be operating, said the General Manager of SEAL, Mr. José Porto Vargas. One will operate in the district of San Camilo and the other in El Pedregal.

These are two projects of the Spanish company T-SOLAR. This connection will allow the integration of both plants in the National Interconnected System (SEIN), which ends when the refueling of the system reaches the 44MW of the two photovoltaic plants.
